because its uses are endless. The FRS uses frequency
modulated (FM) transmission for crystal-clear
communication. This state-of-the-art electronics

reliable but strong enough to withstand tough
off-road riding conditions. Fits any helmet or
clips onto your belt for hands-free communication,
anywhere. Use it hiking, camping, fishing, backpacking,

The Chatter Box X Series communicators are the
most technologically advance units on the market.
The FRS X2 and GMRS X1 have large illuminated
LCD displays, are VOX/voice activated or PTT/push
to talk with full duplex intercoms. They also
feature cellular phone input, audio input with
full stereo sound, in a tough water resistant
casing. The X Series are powered by a high-capacity,
built-in rechargeable Ni-MH battery. The FRS X2
has a range of up to two miles, with 14 channels/38
talk groups, and the GMRS X1 has an increased
range of up to 5 miles plus 15 channels/38 talk
groups.
